Healing Touch is an energy healing technique that uses gentle touch on or near the body to balance the body’s natural energy system. It can improve physical wellness, healing after surgery, reduce side effects of cancer treatment, help individuals through life transitions, and strengthen recovery from trauma or addiction.
Healing Touch is intended to complement any other healing work that you undertake and should not replace psychotherapy or medical treatment. To ensure that you receive the best possible care and support, your Healing Touch practitioner can collaborate with your physician, mental health provider, or other health professionals, with your permission.

Each Healing Touch session begins with a brief discussion of your current strengths, challenges and intentions for healing. Sessions are fully clothed and include an energetic assessment and intuitive guidance based on the insights you share.
During the session the practitioner uses gentle Healing Touch techniques based on your unique needs and goals. With your permission, they may place their hands on various areas of the body, including the joints, torso and head. They may also move their hands through the energy field to strengthen and support it.
At the end of the session there is time to share insights or sensations that you may experience, if you choose. The practitioner may suggest ideas for self-care that foster energetic awareness and promote continued healing after the session.
Sessions are approximately 60 minutes. If at any time during the session you are uncomfortable, please speak up. Your comfort is essential to the effectiveness of Healing Touch.
In addition to gentle touch, sessions may include guided imagery, affirmations, and education about chakras (energy centers within the body) and the human energy field.
Because there may be a cumulative effect of using Healing Touch over time, regular sessions are recommended.
